Astra is a civic engagement platform designed and built by Nexova in Mauritius. Residents raise concerns, officials respond, and the community stays engaged, in one place. It has three roles: citizens, municipal officers and government administrators.
What Astra does

- A solver, not a suggestion. Every project combination is checked against an Rs 10 million budget, workforce conflicts and complexity limits, with reasons for what is selected and postponed.

Accountable by design
AI helps interpret reports and explain results. Budgets, workforce constraints and final feasibility are checked by deterministic code, and human officials keep responsibility for final decisions.
About the demonstration
The screenshots use sample data. Its five zones are named after real Mauritian towns and use census population figures; the projects, reports and comments shown are synthetic.
